Royal Golf Club Marianske Lazne has 470 members (1.1.2000). A list of both Czech and international golf legends being members of our club would exceed the scope of this page.
Amateur Golf
In the year 2000 we proudly welcomed our 6th honorary member - Sir Michael Bonallack - world legend of amateur golf and a long-term governing body member of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club in St.Andrews.
The worlds of professional and amateur golf are strictly divided. Our club life focuses mostly to amateur golfing in favour of our members. Every year, the best amateur players are praised at our annual members` meeting. The selection criteria follow mainly from playing results at Republic Championships, Amateur Tour tournaments, the annual Club Championship, and personal HCP value.

Professional Golf
The best known member of our club is without doubt Alex Cejka, whose successfull journey to the high end of golf was testified by his victory at Volvo Masters 1995 in Valderrama - the final of the professional European Tour. Today we can observe with interest and thoughts of support with his progress at the American PGA.
A well known personality is also Ivan Lendl, a world tennis legend, currently playing professional golf. He had become an honorary club member in 1995. We had a chance to see both these players during the professional tournaments of the Volvo Tour series that took place in Marianske Lazne in 1995 and 1996.
